TWICE has released dozens of fantastic tunes over almost 7 years since their debut in 2015. It has reached the point where they’re able to reference themselves in new releases without missing a beat! Here are 5 times TWICE referenced their own tracks in “Talk That Talk.”
1. “More & More”
Sana repeats her iconic lines from “More & More,” reminding us of how she slayed similar lyrics all the way back in 2020.
2. “YES or YES”
Tzuyu references the group’s 2018 single “YES or YES” which has since garnered over 367,000,000 views on YouTube!
3. “Push & Pull”
They weren’t shy about mentioning their subunits! Continuing her line, Tzuyu also references “Push & Pull,” a song performed by TWICE members Jihyo, Sana, and Dahyun. The track comes from their last Korean language studio album, Formula of Love: O+T=<3.
4. “1 to 10”
The next lyric is a throwback all the way to 2016! Jeongyeon mentions TWICE’s “1 to 10” b-side from their album Twicecoaster: Lane 1.
5. “Turn It Up”
Although it’s barely heard in the song, thanks to the subtitles on the official music video, ONCEs were still able to catch this line! In the background, a chorus says “Turn It Up,” one of their tracks from an extended play, Fancy You.
Considering how many songs TWICE has, it might be possible to fill up an entire track with just titles from their releases!
