This was a crossover we didn’t know we needed.
During the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers basketball game on November 9, EXO‘s Lay (also known as Zhang Yixing) was in attendance, and he got to meet his favorite player, Kawhi Leonard. The two exchanged gifts, with Kawhi Leonard giving Lay one of his jerseys and Lay giving Kawhi something from Valentino (Lay is Valentino’s brand ambassador).
Before the game started, Yixing was asked two questions: Who did he think would win, and which team was he a fan of? Though he wasn’t too sure who the winner was, Lay didn’t hesitate in answering that rather than the teams, he was a huge fan of Kawhi Leonard himself.

They didn’t stop at just introducing Lay as a singer; they listed all his areas of expertise, including dancing and acting, and they included some of his achievements and popularity. Given that Lay is one of the most famous artists from China, his numbers are truly impressive.
Though the charisma was undoubtedly overflowing in the stadium, Lay and Kawhi had the most adorable interaction. After posing for a picture, the two compared hand sizes. The difference was so huge that Lay couldn’t help but gasp in astonishment while Kawhi broke into a smile and chuckled.

Yixing isn’t short, with a height of 5’10” or 178 cm, but next to an NBA player, it’s no surprise that he’s a head shorter (Kawhi is 6’7″ or 198 cm tall).
Lay and Kawhi clearly have a favorable impression of each other, and it was definitely a dream come true for Lay to meet his favorite NBA player.
