Former EXO member Tao (also known as Huang Zitao) and former SM Entertainment trainee Xu Yiyang from SM Rookies have officially announced their relationship.
On July 14, the couple hard launched their relationship on the Chinese social media app Douyin. In the videos, they each show a picture of the other on their phone. As they lower their hands, they physically appear from behind the phone, revealing themselves together.

The video then transitions to them walking through a field, arms wrapped around each other, grinning and gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes.
In a separate post, they shared couple photos taken at a beach. Yiyang captioned the photos of them holding hands, “Make a wish at sunset.”
Meanwhile, Tao uploaded romantic pictures of them leaning in for a kiss, sweetly saying, “May we always be us ❤️.“
Their announcement has delighted fans, who have eagerly followed their journeys and supported their relationship. Fans left comments like, “Congrats!” and “What a fun way of [announcing] it!”
Tao and Yiyang met at SM Entertainment back in 2014 when she was a trainee and he had already debuted in EXO. After their work in Korea, they moved back to China where they launched successful careers in the local entertainment industry.
