She reveals her secret to staying grounded.
LE SSERAFIM recently made their highly anticipated comeback with their third EP, EASY, on February 19, 2024, and released five new catchy songs for fans to enjoy.
To accompany the release of their new EP, each LE SSERAFIM member sat down for an exclusive interview with Weverse Magazine, opening up about the themes of the album, their creative processes, reflections about their lives and careers, and more.
In her interview, member Yunjin opened up about returning to New York for the first time since her debut, reuniting with her family and friends, her lyricism, and how she stays open-minded as a celebrity figure.
Since her debut, Yunjin has been honest about the reality of idol life and life as a “player in the entertainment industry,” a theme she explored in her solo work.
In her interview, Yunjin again explored the theme of idol life and how she remains grounded while becoming a rising prominent figure in the industry.
Yunjin shared that her “journey to make [her] dreams come true” began in New York. Growing up in New York, she would often visit art galleries and museums, and she admitted that her parents placed “importance on cultural experiences.”
Even as she grew up, she continued to visit galleries and explore different artistic styles and revealed that it’s not only been therapeutic to her but has helped keep her “open-minded” as a K-Pop idol, which she admits can “narrow your perspective.”
I’ve always been an innately curious person, and being an idol can narrow your perspective, so I need time to keep mine wide open.
