A piece of BLACKPINK history has made a cameo in BABYMONSTER‘s new teaser.
Of course, both groups got their start with YG Entertainment, and the members of BLACKPINK were there at every step of BABYMONSTER’s journey, whether on-screen or off-screen.
It seems like the relationship has come full circle.
At midnight on June 26 (KST), BABYMONSTER released the teaser for their upcoming song “FOREVER.” It gave off major luxury vibes, and had netizens anticipating the kind of concept the group was going for.
At the start of the video, netizens noticed bags with the word “BABYMONSTER” on it.
The reason it had netizens shook was because they seemed to be the same bags BLACKPINK had on their pre-debut teaser. In particular, one of the names the group could’ve had was BABYMONSTER until they chose BLACKPINK and the former name had to wait seven years to make it into the public eye officially.
When the photos of the two side by side were posted, it had netizens screaming because a part of YG history was coming back and linking the two groups together.
