Jennie will be starring in the new show My Name Is Gabriel.
It is a variety show that involves the cast experiencing the lives of others abroad for 72 hours, and Jennie will be playing “Maria,” the owner of a farmhouse bed and breakfast in a village near Rome, Italy. Photos and videos of Jennie as Maria have been shared online, raising anticipation for the idol’s role.

Recently, some more casual footage was shown of Jennie during filming in a commentary video that was released with the PD.
Netizens noticed that as Jennie was walking with ice cream in her hand, two elderly gentlemen sitting down noticed the idol, and their gaze followed her.
One netizen’s tweet gained attention as they pointed out the men probably didn’t even know who Jennie was but her visuals were so dazzling that they couldn’t help but stare.
