SM Entertainment previously released a furious statement in response to the idols’ departures.

EXO‘s Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen pushed back at SM Entertainment‘s statement.
On June 2, the idol’s lawyer responded to claims made by SM Entertainment that an “outside force” had coerced the idols into leaving.
SM’s claims that there was an outside force is the agency’s way of avoiding the issue, being the artists’ rights, and is nothing more than misinformation to confuse the public.

Previously, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen had revealed that they were leaving SM Entertainment. In response, SM Entertainment claimed that MC Mong and Big Planet Made had fed the idols misinformation and coerced them into signing with the new label.
Big Planet Made has since refuted this claim and revealed that they had never met the idols and that MC Mong is no longer involved with the label in any capacity.
