Red Velvet’s Seulgi has reportedly renewed her contract with SM Entertainment.
According to an exclusive report from Star News, Seulgi has recently decided to renew her contract with SM Entertainment. This would be Seulgi’s second contract renewal, as Red Velvet’s original seven year contract expired in 2021. No further details were reported.
Seulgi’s renewal shows her trust in SM Entertainment but is also significant because many artists have been leaving SM Entertainment following the introduction of SM 3.0. Over the past few months, Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny, EXO‘s Lay, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun, and actor Kim Min Jong have all left the company.
