He recommends one song instead.
NCT‘s Taeyong became the first member of the group to officially debut as a solo artist when he released his first solo mini-album SHALALA on June 5.
While promoting his solo debut mini-album, Taeyong filmed a fun video with MTV UK, in which he played “Music To Blank To,” a game that had him name go-to songs for specific situations.
Taeyong revealed the songs he would listen to in scenarios such as wanting to boost his mood, preparing to go on stage, having a good cry, and more.
Taeyong, being a dedicated leader, answered many of the questions with NCT songs or songs from his own solo mini-album.
For reminiscing about his childhood, he would listen to his song “Back to the Past,” for walking on a rainy day; he would listen to an unreleased song he has been working on, and he would chill with friends to NCT Dream‘s version of “Candy.”
There were two related scenarios that Taeyong didn’t recommend an NCT song for, and he instead chose Debussy‘s “Arabesque No. 1” for both.
Taeyong chose the classical song as one he would listen to when going to sleep. He explained that for himself, the melody brings peace and quiets his mind.
The second scenario was a song to listen to in order to relax after a long day. He again mentioned that he listens to “Arabesque No. 1.”
