Due to K-Pop’s ever-expanding popularity in recent years, MTV introduced the “Best K-Pop” category in 2019, allowing groups to shine in their category and others.
This year’s nominees were aespa‘s “Girls,” BLACKPINK‘s “Pink Venom,” FIFTY FIFTY‘s “Cupid,” SEVENTEEN‘s “Super,” and Stray Kids’ “S-Class,” and TXT’s “Sugar Rush Ride.”

It seems like TXT were just as excited for the group!
During the MC’s announcements of each group, fans could view TXT’s reactions from the audience. Naturally, when they were announced as nominees, they couldn’t help but get hype, dancing along to their song.
However, when Stray Kids were announced winners, TXT immediately began clapping, with Beomgyu and Soobin singing along to “S-Class” as it played.
TXT then stood up to show their support for Stray Kids, even as other artists sitting around them ignored the show that was going on.
It’s great to see two of K-Pop’s biggest fourth-generation groups winning and supporting each other!
