She is a very successful entrepreneur.
The owner of a popular bakery in Seoul has suddenly found internet fame after netizens fell for her age-defying beauty.
The London Bagel Museum in the Gangnam area of Seoul is one of the most popular bakery-cafes in the capital. Known for its attractive interior aesthetic and impressive lineup of bagels, the place is said to be brimming with Seoulites at any given time during its operating hours.
But currently, Korean netizens’ attention seems to be fully concentrated on Lee Hyo Jong, the founder and CBO of London Bagel Museum. She also runs a fashion store, Artist Komplex, and two other cafes in Seoul, Café Highwaist (known for its scones) and Café Layered (a vintage animal cake shop).
Apart from being an extremely successful business owner, Lee is also a huge fashion enthusiast, which is reflected in her everyday styling.
Her aesthetic ranges from casual to grunge to artsy to eccentric, and she manages to carry it all with an unmatched aura.
While her dressing style had already won over the internet, it wasn’t until people realized her age that they went into a frenzy. Lee is known to be a ’71-liner, which makes her 53 years old! Needless to say, Korean netizens are thoroughly impressed by Lee’s thriving career and her wardrobe.
- “Wow, I should also live like that.”
- “I am so shocked. I envy her for her strong sense of personal style.”
- “This is not my personal taste, but the fact that someone can stick to their own style and achieve success in business with it is very impressive.”
- “She really looks like someone in their 20s who dresses well or someone in their early to mid-30s working in a specialized profession (like a dancer or artist). Honestly, LOL. I got goosebumps when I realized she was the same age as the company’s managing director… Feels like I should address her as ‘unnie.’”
- “She lives a really cool life.”
- “Looks like she doesn’t eat the stuff she herself sells.”
- “Cool.”
- “I thought she looked younger than expected and then found out she was born in 1972. That’s impressive. Age is indeed just a number. We just need to pay attention.”
- “She is living her life well.”
- “52 years old????”
- “Wow, but she looks really young.”
- “Wow…daebak. When I saw her in a video, it didn’t have this vibe.”
