He reviews a netizen-created profile of himself.
SHINee‘s Key recently made his solo comeback with “Good & Great,” and to celebrate his release, he appeared on 1theK’s original series, IDDP.
For his interview, Key searched his name on the web and responded to trending posts, fans’ stories about him, his official profile, and even scrolled through posts on popular online community boards such as TheQoo and Instiz.
There was no topic off-limits for the second-generation star, and Key made the interview even more fun with his playful and candid replies.
Key kicked off the interview by searching his name on NamuWiki, which primarily consists of user-generated content. As he searched, he was greeted with his official profile on the site.
He noted that it must have been updated recently, as his profile picture was from his most recent comeback, and he was particularly impressed with how the photo was edited.
As he reviewed his profile, the SHINee member hilariously asked if his birth year could be changed from 1991 to 2001 before noticing his height.
His height was listed as 175 cm. (approx. 5’7″), but the editing history showed it had previously been listed as 177 cm. (approx. 5’8″).
Key honed in on the netizen-submitted change and revealed he had told SM Entertainment he was 175 cm. tall, but the company had suggested he say he was two centimeters taller instead, resulting in his height previously being listed as taller than he is.
He officially “came clean” about his actual height, which is what is currently reflected on his profile.
During his interview, he also discussed the shirtless Instagram photo he forgot he posted, which had netizens convinced he was hacked.
