TXT recently released behind-the-scenes footage from their 2022 TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR < ACT: LOVE SICK.
On the North American leg of their tour, TXT visited seven cities in the United States, starting with Chicago on July 7. Although they were tired and jet-lagged, they diligently prepared for their first concert in the U.S. since their debut showcase in 2019.
They shared they had rehearsed for the show countless times, but it’s always different being on location, so they carefully mapped out their performance ahead of the live show.
Before the show, the members expressed some of the concerns and worries they had. While preparing for their performance of Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Soobin‘s unit song “Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go,” Hueningkai and Yeonjun went to the venue’s second floor and practiced the part of the show where they surprised the audience.
Waiting for their cue to walk back into the theatre, Yeonjun voiced one of his concerns to Hueningkai and asked if he thought the audience would leave mid-performance.
They initially feared they wouldn’t be able to fill the venues on their tour, and the result was the opposite. The smaller venues their company booked were so packed that even TXT asked for bigger venues on their next tour.
Luckily, TXT had nothing to worry about as fans left the concert wishing the concert was even longer. HYBE Labels also announced a promising plan for larger venues and more cities for TXT’s next tour.
Another concern they acknowledged was encountering language barriers during their travels. Taehyun worked hard to memorize his English lines and worried about forgetting what to say while trying to remember changes made to their performance.
Soobin seemed to have similar thoughts as he shared he was worried about there being a language barrier when meeting fans.
Before Soobin continued, Hueningkai offered a simple solution to his problem and hilariously suggested that the group could remain silent and go with a mystery concept.
MOAs proved their love for TXT transcends any language barriers as members of the audience impressively knew the lyrics to every song. As TXT reflected on their concert, they shared how touched they were to witness the crowd singing along with them in Korean. It seems TXT didn’t have to rely on Hueningkai’s backup plan.
